Our Thrift Stores feature a large selection of pre-owned and new clothing, household items, furniture, collectibles and more. Your purchase or donation helps provide a home for the children of Bethel Bible Village Children's Home.

What is the Bethel Bible Village Children's Home Thrift Shoppe and how does it benefit the children?

The Thrift Stores are an outgrowth of our flea market. The flea market was begun to supplement Bethel's income by turning surplus donated items into cash. This extra income helps pay the bills and enables us to provide a safe loving home for these forgotten victims of crime.

Why doesn't Bethel use this merchandise?

We do use much of it. We sell only those items for resale that we cannot currently use.

Where are the Thrift Shoppes located?

The Hixson Shoppe is located at 5135 Hixson Pike in Hixson, just past Northgate Mall. Click Here For Map.

When is the Thrift Shoppe open?

All Shoppes are open: 9-5, Monday - Saturday.

Can I receive a tax deductible receipt for my donation?

YES! You will receive a "non-cash" receipt from us on which you may put your own value for the times donated (the IRS prohibits us from doing so). The donations (what we use and sell) are VERY IMPORTANT to the operation of Bethel Bible Village Children's Home. The money from articles sold benefits us, and the opportunity to buy things at a bargain benefits many people in our community.

Where should I take my donations?

We prefer you drop things off at our Thrift Shoppes, but you may take them to Bethel Bible Village Children's Home, 3001 Hamill Road in Hixson.

If necessary, can you pick things up at my home or business?

Yes, we can and do. Please call for a pick up time at 870-9056.

What do you sell?

Used clothing, shoes, furniture in good clean condition, toys, housewares, appliances, books, hardware items, and even cars! These items are sold on an "as is" basis with no guarantees and no returns.

Can you use my leftover garage sale items? Do you pick up or should I bring them over?

Can we ever! Just load up your car and bring them over to us. If you have too much we will come and pick it up.

Can I give you the overstocked and end of season items from my store?

Absolutely! Some companies have been doing this. They find it is a good way for them to contribute to a worthy cause. Tax laws provide an incentive for "in-kind" donations. So it helps them as it helps us.
