About the Bethel Thrift Store

The Thrift Store features a large selection of gently used and new furniture, clothing for all ages, household items, collectibles and more.

100% of the proceeds generated by your purchase or donation will help support our Mission to provide safe, nurturing Christ-centered homes for children of families in crisis.

Some donated clothing and other items will directly help meet the needs of our children and campus homes, as needed.

What Can I Donate – And What Should I Avoid?

See the list of items we can use most, and which items (such as pianos and live chickens) we cannot accept. PLEASE bring donations to our back entrance, not to the front of the store. Thanks.

Please do not leave donations outside the Thrift Store after hours due to the possibility of theft. If stolen, your donation does not help Bethel’s children in crisis.

Can I Receive a Tax Deductible Receipt for My Donation?

Yes. You can get a Donation Receipt when you bring your items to the Bethel Thrift Store during our regular business hours. For tax purposes, you must keep up with your receipts. We do not maintain permanent records of non-cash donations. By law, Bethel Bible Village cannot place a value on donated items.

Does the Bethel Thrift Store Provide Free Pick-up Service?
Yes, for furniture only. Call (423) 870-9056 to schedule a pick-up in your area.

Can I Give Overstocked and End of Season Items from My Store?
Absolutely! Some companies find it is a good way to contribute to a worthy cause while receiving a tax-deductible incentive for their non-cash donations.
